Some news from the Omnium Gatherum camp, Omnium Gatherum has finished their fourth album. It was forged into shape during the spring in Hämeenlinna and Karhula, Finland and it is entitled “The Redshift”. The album is set to be released in September. The Redshift is mixed and mastered by the Swedish mastermind Dan Swanö, who had this to say: "I hate bands like Omnium Gatherum, they are so good it pisses me off! Their fine blend of melody and aggression is so good I actually thought about stealing the record and release it as my own. Starting off with good news: I'm pleased to announce that Dead Shape Figure has signed a booking deal with Secret Entertainment! Good to have you with us! The band just released their debut album "The Grand Karoshi" through Dreams Untouched, licenced by Season of Mist. You can check the band out at: www.deadshapefigure.fi and www.myspace.com/deadshapefigure Million Dollar Beggars has just released their first digital single from the upcoming album that is released through Shadow World records this fall. The song is called "Stories..." and it is available for download through various internet sites, for example HS Musiikkilataamo. On sadder news, the bass player of Omnium Gatherum has left the band. Eerik Purdon's departure from the bands ranks will not affect the upcoming shows that have been booked for the band, thanks to replacement players. Cheers, Toni April 14, 2008 Hello everybody, I'm happy to announce that Omnium Gatherum have joined forces with Secret Entertainment! Welcome aboard. The band is currently recording their fourth album which is due this fall. The working title of the upcoming opus is "Riding the Red Shift". We eagerly await! Omnium Gatherum is also set to take part on the upcoming European Tour with Nile, Grave and Belphegor. For dates see "Gigs" On other news: Ghost Brigade are to make their debut abroad. The band has scheduled five shows that take place in June at Poland, Germany and France where the band performs at Hellfest alongside such greats as At the Gates and Morbid Angel! Be well, Toni *** November 6, 2007 Hello everyone, Lots of things have happened during the last weeks, some of which more pleasant than others. Our worst concern has probably been our webpages, that have proved to be one difficut task to manage. Why is it so hard to get something to work properly? Everything should be fine now, of which I must thank mr. Tuomas Palosaari and his wife Tanja Isoaho, who helped me to understand how websites are really constructed. There are still some minor inconveniences, mostly to you who use Internet Explorer, as you migh see our beautiful tree logo somewhat misplaced. We might get this bug solved with the upcoming upgrade from html to php. On lighter side of news, one of our bands, ShamRain, just released their third album through Spinefarm Records just last week. I’m very excited about the album and I’m sure that it will prove to be a success. I’ll update some of the album’s reviews on the site at some point. You can also see ShamRain live with Ghost Brigade end of this year at Jyväskylä, Tampere and Helsinki here in Finland. And if you live in Italy don’t forget the upcoming Iconcrash shows. There some treats for the Finnish fans as well, not forgetting the future shows of Dark Filth Fraternity and Hanging Garden. Future looks great for Secret Entertainment.
